One of two marked Right of Way paths on the original Plan of Lots at Chapoquoit in 1903, the grassy path down to Big Pier is uneven and soft. A gate was installed that is open during the summer season and closed for the off-season.  The wildlife doesn’t care about the gate so this common property might be more used by the animals than it is by householders.
